The CliksI am currently digging a band called The Cliks. They hail from Toronto, Ontario and burst onto the scene in 2004. Their sound can be described as dirty, sexy rock with a raw melodic edge. The songs are catchy and have a gritty swagger thanks in large part to the lead singer, Lucas Silveira. Silveira is openly FTM (female to male transgender) and has a magnetic sex appeal that radiates from voice to ear. The Canadian press has compared them to Joan Jett, Jon Spencer and David Bowie. If you are near one of the tour stops, they are a MUST SEE. There are a few shows left in Canada and then they are making their way into the USA for a month long trek. I for sure will be in the audience at the San Diego show!
